Mostly yes, and we would rather explain the exception than let you find it.
Normally: prices come from live market data — stock quotes from Finnhub, and cryptoasset prices from Binance's public market data. They are real, they update while you watch, and the percentage change you see is the genuine change.
The exception: when a data provider is unavailable, rate-limits us, or a request fails, Finoha falls back to an internally generated price series so the screen does not go blank mid-lesson. Prices shown in that state are invented and do not correspond to any market.
The app indicates when it is running on simulated prices. If a number ever looks implausible next to a real quote elsewhere, that fallback is almost certainly why.
Either way, never use a price in Finoha for a real-world decision. Our prices are indicative, may be delayed, and are supplied "as is" for educational purposes. Use a real market data source or your broker for anything that matters.
